Keith Dobkins, a retired musician, died peacefully at home on October 2, 2011 after a long illness.
Services: 11am Thursday, St. Paul Presbyterian Church, 4517 Rufe Snow Drive. Rev. L. Walker Westerlage will officiate.
Private interment will be held in Fairview Cemetery, Gainesville, Texas. Friends may call at Lucas Funeral Home 10am-8pm Wednesday.
He was born December 22, 1953 in Ardmore, Oklahoma, the son of Harold and Treba Dobkins. He and his family moved to North Richland Hills in 1965.
Survivors: his Mother, Treba Dobkins; Brother, Steve Dobkins; Aunt & Uncle, Oleta & Freddy Schmitz of Gainesville, TX; Uncle, Charles Dobkins of Dallas; Cousins, Buster and Marcy Bezner and Mike and Marcia Schmitz of Gainesville, Bob and Leslie Carter of Plano, Norman and Dinah Bleau of Irving; and many friends.
Keith was preceded in death by his Father, Harold Dobkins of North Richland Hills.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to North East Emergency Distribution (N.E.E.D.) or The Humane Society of North Texas.
